Our company uses cleaning products that are low environmental impact cleaning products, tools, equipment.
PSBM, LLC is committed to providing a healthy environment for our client’s staff and students.
To achieve this goal we: · Use environmentally preferred materials and systems for all operations · Avoid the use of toxic products · Conserve water and energy · Minimize waste · The use of recyclable paper products · Log Books used daily to communicate any needs or concerns · Train staff in environmentally preferable cleaning practices.
Our primary goal of green housekeeping is to maintain good indoor air quality and consider other factors that affect the health of building occupants.
Green Products and Supplies
· Microfiber towels or cotton cloths are used for cleaning and dusting and are cleaned after each use. Mops and Dusters are EchoMops and are composed of 30% post consumer waste and 67% post industrial waste. Free from post recycling dyes.
· All cleaning solutions and chemical products used are green certified. A list of the products are available upon request.
· Our vacuums are Sanitaire HEPA Uprights, which are CRI Green Label certified. The equipment gets a visual maintenance daily; such as checking the Hepa Filter/Bags and are changed/replaced when half full or when the indicator on the machine notifies. Quarterly, they are tuned up completely. All machines have a guard to protect furniture and walls.
· All paper products provided are EchoSoft products and are 100% recycled and contain a minimum of 40% post-consumer waste and are Green Seal Certified.
EQUIPMENT USE AND STORAGE
· Sanitaire HEPA Uprights, which are CRI Green Label certified. · Carpet extraction machine uses no chemicals and will dry within 12-18 hours. Floor scrubbers provide variable rate dispensing of cleaning fluids to optimize their use. · All equipment is non-propane and use gel batteriesRecords of inspections and maintenance are logged.
